Bahen & Co. takes things slowly. They make very small batches of bean-to-bar chocolate in the quiet, natural beauty of Magaret River, Western Australia.
With a history in winemaking, Josh Bahen understands the patience and subtlety needed to bring the best out of natural ingredients. Along with his team, he crafts exceptional chocolate using ancient techniques and machinery, including a Guitard Melangeur (grinder) that dates back to 1910.
Bahen & Co. develop long term, solid relationships with the farms they buy their cacao from. Dealing directly with the farmers, they exceed Fair Trade prices and pay an amount that respects the hard work it takes to grow top quality cacao.
