Foundry Chocolate launched in September 2018, and we were lucky enough to host their launch night at our pop-up shop at Ponsonby Central. Created in micro batches by the husband and wife team of David and Janelle Herrick at their tiny factory in Mahurangi, New Zealand, this exceptional 'two ingredient' chocolate is all about pure expression of origins. The incredible array of vibrant and delicate flavour notes to be found in each bar are a result of using the highest quality cacao beans on the planet, along with a persistent dedication to finding the perfect processing methods for each bean.
