When two French chocolatiers – Samuel Maruta and Vincent Mourou – found themselves living in Vietnam and surrounded by unique, high quality cacao, it was clearly chocolate destiny!
Marou work closely with family owned cacao plantations in Southern Vietnam, paying above market rates for extremely distinctive cacao. Their chocolate bars are named after the region that the cacao comes from and you’ll find big differences in the flavour profiles of these bars.
After small beginnings back in 2011, Marou is now gaining global recognition as incredible and ethical chocolate.
