Taza Chocolate
Taza Chocolate make organic and sustainable chocolate in Somerville, Massachusetts. They are heavily inspired by traditional Mexican methods and stone grind all of their cacao using authentic Oaxacan stone mills called ‘molinos’.
Taza are extremely passionate about establishing direct trade with their farmers and only buying cacao from farms that are kind to their workers and the environment. They were the first U.S. chocolate makers to establish a third-party certified Direct Trade Cacao Certification program. Almost all of Taza’s packaging and shipping supplies are made from recycled materials.
Oh, and their chocolate tastes incredible as well.
