Produced in Madagascar from the finest rare terroir regions of the northwest and east coast of Madagascar. Criollo cacao was originally introduced from Reunion Island in the 1800s and Forastero cacao later crossbreeding with Criollo to form Trinitario cacao varieties, and the unique rainforest, soil, and climate in Madagascar have given these cacaos distinct fruity flavor profiles. Their factory's proximity to cocoa plantations allows for the swift transformation of fermented and dried cocoa into chocolate, preserving delicate flavonoids.
