An intense yet perfectly balanced chocolate, from the Bến Tre province in the Mekong Delta, where cacao trees are planted among coconuts prized for their sweetness. Under the verdant canopy of the coconut palms, the fine Trinitario cacao thrives.
This is the first ever milk chocolate from Marou and it's an entirely unique creation - very different to other coconut milk chocolates that we've tried. Whilst the initially taste is beautifully coconutty and sweet, it then gives way to the power of the Bến Tre cacao, which brings incredible tropical fruit notes that are reminiscent of green mango and papaya.

Marou, Faiseurs de Chocolat are a renowned Vietnamese chocolate brand, founded by Samuel Maruta and Vincent Mourou (Ma-rou) in 2011. They craft all of their chocolate in Saigon using purely Vietnamese ingredients of the highest quality.
If you haven’t been following Marou’s single-origin efforts, they produce rare and delicate dark chocolate bars featuring cacao from several different provinces of Vietnam. Each of these bars offer a flavour journey utterly unique to that province.
Marou's commitment to ethical sourcing and direct trade with local farmers has earned them global recognition. Their chocolates, known for their unique flavor profiles, have won numerous international awards, solidifying Marou's place in the world of premium artisan chocolate.
