Made from pure Heirloom Cacao Preservation accredited cocoa beans from Samuel von Rutte's Hacienda Limon farm on the Guantupi River in Ecuador. A long conch with no added sugar yields a deep nutty flavour with low acidity.
Whilst not at all sweet, this is the most gentle and mild 100% chocolate we have come across, as well as the smoothest.
Handmade from bean to bar in Suffolk, United Kingdom.

Hacienda Limon, Los Rios, Ecudaor
Made from Heirloom Cacao Preservation accredited cocoa beans from Samuel von Rutte's Hacienda Limon farm on the Guantupi River in Ecuador.
Samuel von Rutte was born in Switzerland. He left his native country for Ecuador 25 years ago. He now lives with his family among the farmers to help grow and process these heirloom beans. He makes bulk chocolate in Ecuador, which he sells in Europe, the USA, and other markets.
The Hacienda Limon farm grows a cacao that is a genetic blend, but unsurprisingly it consists of almost two-thirds Nacional, as recorded by the Heirloom Cacao Preservation who have these results from the USDA:
63.4% Nacional
17.3% Amelonado
16.7% Upper Amazon Forastero
2.0% Criollo
